This is by far mine and my husbands favorite brewery! There’s always a lot of options, good environment and fantastic staff!! Mark, Kate and Ripken are always friendly and knowledgeable. When we bring our kid with, they joke around with her and make her feel just as welcome. We’ve brought friends, coworkers and family here frequently. 10/10 we highly recommend!!!

Great brewery in the heart of Newport News shipyard, which is such a unique location in Hampton Roads. It's large with a variety of beer types. It's a large warehouse atmosphere with barrels full of future stouts to look forward too. The service was great and we enjoyed live music while drinking our beer flight. Can't wait to go back and enjoy more beer or spirits of the neighbors Iron Clad Distillery.

A very nice brewery that is great for family, friends and events! They have a small private room that can be used for groups. The beer is very good with a wide variety of selection. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, willing to offer suggestions based on your preferences. There has always been at least 1 food truck on site each time I have visited. I believe Coastal would be a lot more popular throughout the 757 if the location was more convenient and centrally located.

Always enjoy stopping by my local Coastal for a drink or six. Kate is truly a blessing to be around as a brew tender and can really make your day by just being a normal person and taking the time out of her day to simply say hello and ask you how your are doing. (Like really ask how you are doing). The constant appreciate for returning customers and mug club members does not go unnoticed. The people who tend to migrate to this brewery are generally working class and full of pride for their local community. We come here to congregate and share stories of our workdays with each other, while enjoying a great, genuine beer that has been brewed by the best. Shout out to Kate and Sean! You guys always make my day when I walk in and can be greeted with a smile and friendly conversation.

Been here for live music, slushies, brewery doggos (specifically the bestest girl Sigrid), shenanigans...
Shout out to Kate who is the best Beertendress, keeps our beer fresh and cold when we need it! Mark is a close second, because he bring Sigrid, and tells us the secrets about the slushie machine!
One day I'll visit with Hop Water on tap!
