Been coming here for a few years now and they never disappoint. Service is great and the food is delicious. They get pretty busy on Fridays which is typically Pizza Night in the USA. Saturdays are a great time to order or dine in though.

My husband and a visiting friend of ours joined us for dinner at Vinnys on J.Clyde recently. It was a cool blustery day so my friend and I ordered their homemade soup. She got the minestrone and I ordered the Pasta fagioli. My husband ordered a pizza slice. We also ordered onion ring appetizers. The soup was awful and tasteless. The odd thing is I've had the soup from the Oyster pt. location in the past and it was good. My friend said hers was terrible too. I tasted hers and it was flavorless just like mine...tons of beans, a scant showing of vegetables, in a watery, flavorless, broth. We sent the soup back. I rarely send back food but that stuff was inedible and inexcusable. Our waitress was very nice about it all. She was super accommodating and attentive throughout our dinner. After we sent the soup back, we each ordered a slice of cheese pizza. Again, super disappointing. If there was any way they could add less sauce or cheese, it would be humanly impossible. It was basically nothing. The onion rings were pretty good but certainly weren't redeeming. My husband reported his pizza slice was mediocre at best. This was by far one of the most disappointing experiences I've had dining there, or dining anywhere for that matter. They've really gone way downhill. How sad for them. And to think I recommended going there to my out of town friend. I'm so sorry I did. It was really bad. I will not recommend them to anyone again and I won't be going back.

I was craving a good meal, and had been intrigued by all the claims that this was an amazing place for a good quality pizza. My order was a side of garlic knots, a side of calimari, and a large pizza. The garlic knots were decent, minus the pool of butter that soaked through the boxes they put them in. For the life of me I can't figure out why places pool in the butter and garlic into cardboard/paper boxes, and expect everything to just be okay. Use plastic, save people from having a mess all over their car and tables. Or better yet, just don't have an inch of butter and garlic in a box of bread ... Aside from the overly soggy ones, the ones on top were fairly decent. They are VERY heavy on the garlic, so if you don't like that, steer clear. I love garlic though, so these were decent in my opinion. After salvaging what I could from the garlic knots, I moved onto the calamari. This is quite possiblely one of the worst calamaris I've ever had, not just in the 757, but anywhere. The breading on them was an absolutely horrid flavor, and would have been better if just cooked in straight motor oil. The consistency of the squid itself was similar to a car tire. In an attempt to make it palatable I pulled off the breading on most of the pieces, but was left with just a bland, flavorless chew toy that even my cat and neighbors dog just sniffed and walked away from. Of course the saving grace for any terrible item could be the sauce! At last I had a way to recover this disaster. Vinny's trusty..... Pizza sauce. They didn't even try to go with this is marinara, just... Pizza sauce. Completely the wrong pairing to go with this dish, and it gave me no joy trying to eat these. After about 10 pieces or so, I thought I might actually throw up from eating them. So, were all the positive reviews I heard about their pizza being so great, actually true? It was time to move into the only thing I've heard about this place being good, and uncover the truth! Pizza! I won't beat around the bush on this. The pizza was not good. The crust was dry, and tasted a bit burnt, so if you like pizza pizza crust that literally makes a snapping noise when you try to break the crust in your hands, and the faint taste of smoke and char, this is the place for you! Do yourself a favor, save some money and eat at Anna's for an Italian pizza, or treat your taste buds to an exhilarating experience with Mellow Mushroom. Those places know how to cook the food they serve, and they cook it well. I will never be eating at Vinny's again, as the quality was horrendous, the food was terrible, and the price just didn't justify something that even animals walked away from.

Vinny's is a quaint, hometown pizza restaurant. When you walk in it has that amazing pizza smell. There was plenty of seating. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful with the menu. There was a plethora of options, and the food was fresh and cheesy! I would recommend the philly rolls!

Delicious! The food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Two couples out for dinner and we had pasta and clams, chicken Alfredo, eggplant parmigiana, sausage and pepper sandwich. The entrees came with either a soup or salad and amazing bread. The service was super friendly and very attentive. Our food came out quickly and was perfectly cooked. We all raved about our choices. I had ordered their delicious pizza before but had not sat for dinner and was so happy we decided to give it a try. We will definitely be back to try some of the other yummy options on the menu! Great work guys!
